All lasers are tested with an Laser power meter to verify that are putting
out with in 5% of their rated output, They are also verified to have infrared
that will block 95% of all infrared light.
Note: The 50mW should not be used inside unless you are wearing safety
glasses. When the beam reflects off objects it can
be hazardous to your eyes.
The 5mW is the only green
laser that is safe for presentations and pointing at white boards etc.
Green Laser Pointers have a 532 nm wavelength,
which the eye is much more sensitive to than the red 635-670 nm lasers.
This makes brilliant visibility of the green beam. The range of the
<5mW power output is up to 2 kilometers under ideal conditions in
darkness.

Pulsed output VS Constant output
Some green lasers on the market have a pulsed
output. Greelaser.co.nz only have constant output green lasers. You can
tell if a laser has a pulsed output by moving the dot across a wall
because you will see a dotted line as apposed to a solid one.
Light saber effect
It
is possible to see the beam at night as long as there are tiny particles
in the air for the laser to shine off. In Christchurch on a Smoggy night
the beam is visible shining in to the sky, this is perfect for pointing
out stars and constellations. The beam will also be visible inside at
night if there is a small amount of dust in the air. No you cant see the
beam in sunlight but you can see the dot. See the pictures
Warranty
All the green lasers I sell have a manufactures
warranty of 1 month. This warranty only covers manufacture defects that
can cause the laser to become significantly dimmer or not work at all.
All lasers are tested before they are sent out. It does not cover things such as water damage, misuse, dropping or stripped thread on the battery cover.
